Baby Kira.
Kira was nearly two when this picture was taken. Kira was the sweetest baby girl. So kind and never really threw fits, always trying to please me and Lou.
Kira will be seven tomorrow (Friday April 29) Its unbelievable to me how fast these last seven years have gone. Next year at this time we'll be planning Kira's baptism!!! I still love my Kira and am enjoying this stage of her life too. Tonight while putting curlers in her hair, I would speak Spanish and she would speak back French to me. It was such a tender moment. I love her sweet personality, she is always always trying to make everyone around her happy. Kira is the best big sister to Josh. Kira is a kind friend. Kira is so easy to have as a daughter. One thing about Kira is that she is never afraid to show who she is, she is just herself no matter who is around. Kira is the smartest girl you'll ever meet. Kira loves to read, she loves puzzles and working in her math workbook. Yet Kira loves to play outside, play school/family with Josh, ride bikes, figure out the monkey bars and is never void of energy. Just a well balanced girl. I love you my sweet Kira!

You know, sometimes when parents get all sentimental about their kids they say things that make me think "Um, are we talking about the same child?"... but you're spot on. From what I see Kira is all of the things you mentioned-- an amazing little girl.
