Allergy Visit

Pretty much everyone knows that I suffer from terrible allergies. I am pretty much allergic to everything to do with the outdoors and all animals. I went to the allergist about 3 months ago to get one of those tests done where they test all sorts of things are your back to see what you are allergic to, well I was allergic to everything they tested, some things worse than others but I did have a reaction to everything!
Lately my allergies have been really acting up, so I set an appointment to see what they can do for me besides my usual Advair and Rhinocourt. The advair as helped my asthma by leaps and bounds, I can now run and not feel like I am 70 years old by running out of breath after just a few minutes. Anyways the allergist told me that a lot of the grasses that I am allergic to are in season right now so that's probably why I am acting up, he prescribed a steroid for me. It turns out it's the same steroid that we had to give Joshy last week because he was wheezing all the time. I guess like mother like son!

What a pisser to be allergic to so much. I've always thought I was lucky because I'm not allergic to anything, but whatever cold-type thing I've got going now must be allergies because it's lasting such a long time. I can totally empathize and really don't know how people live like this all the time. It's annoying, exhausting, and really discouraging.

So sorry Diana! My dad is in the same boat and I feel so bad for him all the time. We used to joke that he always had the option of living in one of those cool bubbles though... I hope the meds help and you can breathe easier soon.
